We are committed to handling your data with care. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your resume or professional history with employers or data brokers.

• Account information — name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Professional profile data — work history, education, skills, certifications, and achievements that you enter to use the resume builder and job analysis features.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
• Communications — emails you send us, including support requests and feedback.

Information collected automatically

• Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits.
• Usage data — features used, actions taken within the application.
• Cookies — session cookies for authentication and preference cookies (such as dark mode setting).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service — building resumes, analysing job postings, generating tailored documents.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, billing receipts).
• To send product updates and newsletters, if you have opted in.
• To improve the Service through aggregate analytics.
• To respond to support requests.

4. AI and Your Data

Career Quiver uses AI language models (including Claude by Anthropic and GPT by OpenAI) to power resume generation, job analysis, and other features. When you use these features, relevant portions of your professional profile and the job posting content are sent to these third-party AI providers to generate outputs.

We do not use your personal data to train AI models without your explicit, informed consent.

Our AI providers process data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We select providers that commit to not using customer data for model training by default.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Service providers necessary to operate the platform (hosting, payment processing, email delivery, AI APIs). These providers are contractually bound to process data only as directed.
• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers — if we merge with or are acquired by another company, your data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

Career Quiver is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have an account) or by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
